I drove a 2011 Mazda until this year until I became a proud owner of the tech heavy Tesla Model 3, or so I thought. I was super surprised when I found out I didn’t have CarPlay and would be forced to pay $10 a month just to use live maps and Spotify.I was super pissed off and decided to give this portable CarPlay a chance and it was the perfect choice!I love having the screen above my steering wheel making it easy to see without having to turn my head. CarPlay connects automatically after the initial setup and the included dashcam plus BT audio relay is perfect. Audio plays through my car sound system but all visuals go directly through this hd screen. The screen and camera quality are also fantastic and the one-cable USB-C setup makes this honestly the best solution I could have asked for.
This thing is awesome! Put it in my 09 Pilot and its like it was made for my car. Perfect fit! Starts right up when I get in. No complaints

I have a 1990 Vanagon. I was really wanting to find a larger screen radio that supported car play. Everything I found that needed to be mounted within the radio ended up being a strange angle given the location and gear shift. This combo worked out perfectly. I like that I can place it wherever with just the power and aux cord connecting them. It starts up easily and remembers my car play mode when I start up. Highly recommend this product!
I feel so cool using this in my 2009 Kia! I use this for Android auto and it works well! Typing in maps on the device is not slow and it's nice to have a big screen for maps! It's nice to use Spotify and other supported apps!Easy Set up! Instructions are helpful and easy to follow! I love that my car now has a reverse camera ! I have never had that before. The front camera is great too for if I were to get into an accident.Easy connection via bluetooth! I can also still connect phone to car speakers as well, as there is an option to use buletooth connected speakers. When I turn my car on it all connects together without me doing anything.I have had this since Christmas and I am LOVING IT!
My concern was mounting this in an older BMW Z4. So I used the suction cup, and a small piece of alien tape on the dash to hold it in place and it works very well. Need a very clean windshield.Granted this isn't an overly glamorous solution, but it is functional.
This thing made my old car new and exciting!Pros:Connects quickly and wirelessly with Bluetooth. No lag when touching the buttons. This surprised me since my wife’s newer car with built in Apple car play has a little lag.Screen is huge! Can have one large screen, split in two or even three if you want your cam showing at the same time. If not wanting to use the reverse camera option and not planning to tap into your reverse light wire, it’s basically plug and play. No setup.Considerations before buying:Everything is very easy to set up with the exception of wire management and fishing the wires down the bumper for the reverse camera. Tapping into the reverse light wire was tough for me. I had to watch a few videos online to figure out how to do it and which wire it was. It took me a good afternoon and a trip to the store to get a tap splice wire connector ($6 for a pack). Would have been nice if that was included. In my scenario, I also needed more of the reverse light wire because I was going through all the panels for a cleaner look. The extra wire was only a few dollars at the store, not a big deal. You may not need extra in your scenario.You CAN use the reverse camera without tapping into the reverse light wire, but it’s so much nicer for it to switch automatically when putting your car in reverse. You also get the whole screen instead of half when manually selecting the cameras.It was VERY much worth putting a little effort into setting this up right and getting a clean look. Note: some of the pics are before wire management was finished.Overall very good product. 5 stars. I would recommend this!
This product has changed the quality of my drive. I live in an area where cars are constantly cutting me off and driving dangerously. This protects me in the event that something happens for insurance purposes. I have it recorded. Also, my vehicle is older so now I can use Apple CarPlay and AirPlay videos to keep my kids entertained when we have long drives. It is a must have.
I own an iPhone and have an old car without carplay. I’ve been searching for a product that will enable this for me. Lo and behold, this product delivers what I am looking for. The car play integration is seamless, every time I start my car, it is connected and ready to play. I mostly use it for navigation but you can also play music, see text and made phone calls. I like the interface and perfectly fit my car. I have flat dashboard so it works well. It also has a camera at the back, so you have a dash cam that records your travel which can be useful. There’s option to attach rear camera (included in the package) but I already have a backup camera. You can also mount it to your windshield if you don't have flat dashboard. I believe it work doe Android phone as well. If you are looking to upgrade your car with carplay look no further. I definitely recommend this product.
